As the need for focusing on rapid changes are a matter of survival, businesses need to become better at scanning the horizon for optimal products, services and the channels that make it easier for customers to interact with them. We have seen retail chains suffer through their inability to adjust quickly enough or adequately enough to ensure they remain competitive in the market and attractive to customers.
Business outcomes are becoming almost a science of anticipation and prediction that will require prolific insights and the well defined levers and keys offered through business architecture and data analytics.
Focusing on technology and reacting to business fire drills will no longer be as “forgiving” as in the past. Organizations, especially for-profit entities, will need to begin to explore investing in data analytics and solid business architecture practices and processes under an Enterprise governance framework that is flexible enough to course correct and adjust in near real time.
